God the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, coequal, consubstantial, and coeternal with God the father and God the son. It is He who convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is the restrainer of the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled. He bears witness to the truth of the gospel and is the supernatural and sovereign agent in regeneration, baptizing all true believers into the body of Christ. He indwells every Christian, instructs the teachable believer by illuminating his mind to understand scripture, empowers the believer for service, and seals believers until the day of redemption. His motive is not to glorify Himself nor His gifts by ostentatious displays but always to reveal the loveliness and excellencies of the Lord Jesus Christ.
