The Word of God
We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God in its entirety, written by men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit,that it is without error, and that is the sole authority for faith and conduct. Because it is the very word of God, it must be handled with integrity and “rightly divided” and interpreted by the literal, historical, grammatical, and contextual approach. Because the canon of scripture was closed by God himself, no new revelation is being given or is needed. Because it is God-breathed and living, and powerful, we believe it is sufficient for faith and growth. We've believe in its authority, clarity, and sufficiency. The Bible does not contain the word of God, it is the word of God! It is the final arbiter in all disputes. It is fully trustworthy and will remain to the end of the world the standard by which all human conduct, teaching, and thought should be tried. Scripture stands in judgment of men; never do men stand in judgment of it. We should be contrite, humble, and tremble at God's word!
